Last night I was heading up to the mountains for just a little fun. Well when I went around this corner I noticed that the truck started feeling a little heavy like it was in 4wd, so I pull off the road try tinkering with the buttons and backing up 10ft the whole nine yards and no go. I then try driving it back home and the front end started making noise that got worse and worse, the truck eventually broke the drivers side hub & I think facked up the ring&pinion. So I'm thinking that I will either do a SAS swap with manual t-case OR get some 4.56 gears manual locking hubs and manual t-case for the same front end. Keep in mind that I have a brand new trail master lift on the ranger and that this is my DD

 

Alright now that some of you have voted on the poll tell me why you think I should go either route and advantages/disadvantages.

 

fix the truck, virtually no downtime, alot cheaper on your wallet, and easier(even though those TTB sas trucks are almost a full bolt in).

 

Sas's are badass... but a pain in the *** as well... Build a good dd then go all out on a trail rig.
