Deal or no deal?

I am shopping some Toyo 33"x13.5"x15" Open Country M/T and have a line on some lightly used - 6 months old. The guy is asking $300 for 5. They'll be going on my son's Ramcharger and he is strictly street. First, is that a good price? And second, being that they are an off road tire (M/T) how quickly will they wear on the road vs. an A/T?

There is no road wear warranty info on these that I can find doing my searches this morning.

Thanks for the responses.

getting M/T's for a street truck is like getting tire chains while living in the desert: it makes no sense. BUT since the tires are only $300 for 5, i guess it's a good deal and will work. but, A/T's would be the better choice if you were paying full price.
as for the wear difference between the MT and AT's yes, the MT's will wear faster on the street.

yeah, m/ts aren't the best for a street truck. But the Toyos are going to be one of the better choices. as they have a hard compond which makes it so they don't wear as fast.

Thanks for all of your responses. I am thinking at the price, it will be hard to go wrong.
