hey got driveshaft problem.

Hey guys i'm wondering what can i do for a rear driveshaft and carrier shaft on an 88 supercab ranger with a mitsubishi 5-speed manual transmission? it has a 2.9 engine and it is 4x4 is there something already in existance? I would prefer that as opposed to getting one made thanks if anyone knows.

What is wrong with it? Getting one made or going junkyarding is about the only options I would think.

well I put the mitsubishi tranny in the truck and the existing drive shaft is about 3 inches to short and the junk yard doesnt know what will fit ( guys kinda screwy ) other wise theres nothing wrong with it.

With you swapping parts and needing a longer shaft you will probably have to get it lengthened. There isn't really a way around it unless you measure it and then go to the junkyard and look.
