How difficult is it to change out the front wheel bearings in 2004 Ranger?

just did mine this morning. took about an hour. i didn't remove the ball joint, tie rod or knuckle. i did have to use a puller to get the old hub off. i just put tension on it and then hit the hub joint with a chisel, 3 good whacks and it popped apart. cleaned everything up, never seized it and reassembled. pretty straight forward, and i had never done one before. there does seem to be alot of resistance on the wheel tho. i'm used to 2wd cars and the wheel would spin very freely, this one does not. i'm assuming that i'm rotating the axel assembly, but could be wrong. anybody know how freely the rotor/hub should spin?
