How do I install tilt steering in my '03 Ranger?

Hello all. I need a little more room behind my steering wheel. I have considered replacing the seats, but after looking over my interior...I think adding tilt steering is the best solution. I just need a couple more inches under the steering wheel.

My question is this: What is the easiest way to add tilt steering to my Ranger? Is it something I can do myself? My truck is a 2003 Ranger Edge 4X4 with the 4.0 V6.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Aaron

any tilt steering column out of a 2003 ranger will work

just make sure you get the ignition switch keyed to your present key

( dealer order )

just swap your lock cylinder over to the new column and you dont have to have it re-keyed
