differential code

my rear diff code is v318a 373 88 6L 28 I know its a 8.8 3.73 opem diff but how many splines is it 28 or 31

the only rangers that came stock with the 31 spline were the FX4LII

All the 31 spline 8.8s in Rangers had 4.10 gears and a Torsen limited slip differential.
