Lunch Box lockers require what from a stock carrier?
Lunch Box lockers require what from a stock carrier?
I have never messed with a lunch box style locker and I am wondering what is required from the stock carrier?
Just the carrier itself?
Also think I should take a chance on this carrier? It mentions it has a few dings on the side, shouldnt be an issue i dont think. any opinions on it?

you take the spider gears out and put the locker in. I would think that carrier would work. You will need some other parts like the bolts for the ring gear, shims, and I think those bearing are missing a race.
Do i need the stock cross pin?
I can get an open carrier with nothing that is new for a bit more, just need to make sure i dont need other stock parts.
In the dana axles there are carrier breaks so that is why i need new carriers to run 5.13s.

most lunch box lockers come with a new cross pin.......
you also want to make sure (i don't know about Dana 44's) that the axle shafts are the same spline as the locker......
like Bryan said, you remove the spider gears and install the locker.....
