Manual to Automatic Swap 93 ranger?

Hello boys, I want to swap out my manual tranny to an automatic tranny. Whats the best way to go?

Search is probably the best way.

It has been done. Just search and you'll find a lot of results.

Jasper for a good trans. Just hope whoever you go with will take yours for a core. Make sure you bring that up when talking to them, because the core charge can get real expensive. Also you may need to go to a junkyard and get a computer the truck to run the trans. Not sure on that but I think you will need a new computer. Go with a Hurst Shifter for the low $200's too the mid $300's will get you a good one. So you don't have to worry about running the shifter cable up the steering column, shifter, hole in floor, ect.

don't do it..

actually, there's a guy on here who went to an auto for hauling now he wants a manual back, buttttttttt your a little too far away to even think about coordinating something like that.


just search, its not as easy as it may sound.
