Manual Locking Hubs, who else makes them?

hello i have a 1998 Mazda B4000 4x4. when i bought the truck it had already had the auto to manual hub conversion done with rugged ridge hubs. i just recently replaced my lower ball joints and inspected the hubs while they were off and noticed that when i moved it from lock to free it wasn't completely disengaging the gear. i did some research on the rugged ridge brand and have found that im not the only person to have trouble with them and i was wondering if anyone knew of a higher quality manual hub for my Mazda.

thank you

There is a only one hub branded under rugged ridge or AVM.

If they are dirty or dry you may just need to lube them, I prefer a silicone sparky.

If they are super grimy they will need a solvent bath, dry with compressed air, and relibed with a light oil. Avoid WD-40 here as it evaporates.

For 97-older with TTB or solid axle Dana 35... I know Warn, MileMarker make hubs with conversion kits that fit these years. You can get them from LMC Truck.

MM are cheaper by a long shot, from there anyways. Bet they're still about the same or better quality as the Warn hubs.

(just putting this here for someone that happens to be searching on the topic)
