More Info On My Transmission Problems...
The thing is: it's the SAME transmission internally as the 4.0 has and I KNOW we're not "overpowering" it.
Have they also replaced your cooler lines, cooler and radiator? I'd be beginning to think restriction in the cooling system at this point. I mean, if they've worked and worked in the tranny and it keeps breaking -- I'd start looking at something external, lol.
Well, good luck. At least it might last long enough for you to sell it!

Well, like a month or so ago, it went out again. Not under warranty.
So, I take it into a shop. 2.5 weeks have no gone by.
They totally rebuilt it and told me it was good to go. 12 month/12,000 mile warranty or an optional 24 month/24,000 mile warranty.
It blew up on them, in the shop.
So, there goes soem of their profit. Lost.
They rebuild again.
Crack.
Something else breaks.
They start to rebuild again. Transmission is cracked down the side or soemthing. They can't figure out where.
So, they call me up.
Now, I am getting a brand spanking new transmission.
It isn't costing me anymore, but it will be another week.
I hate 3.0 automatic transmissions.
They are the devil...
But at least I get a brand new one, now.
Only costing me 4.5 weeks of my crappy wal-mart vision center paycheck.
