need help 4x4low

need help 4x4low

95 ranger will not come out of low range light illuminated and is in low range

manual shift case are elecrtic t case??? and if your a auto put it in netrual and press the brake then shift it out of low if your a 5 speed press clutch all the way to the floor and hold brake then shift it out

yeah man thx but its more technical than that and im not there it belongs to a buddy of mine hes in jax fla im in nofolk va hes callin me for help i already ran all that by him by the way it auto 4x4 and tranny its jacked up with 35s under it and got after market gears in it front and rear

if he has been in 4 low awhile and the transfer case is still hot then sometimes it needs to cool down then it will switch back over.

Also, try tapping on the shift motor a little while it tries to change.

nothing else fails take the motor off and swtich it over with a wrench
