Need new brake pads and rotors. Any suggestions?

Just wondering what people are running for brakes pads and rotors? mine are due to be replaced and wondered if there are some better brands to stick with or there would be much of a benefit to upgrade to something with ceramic, or maybe drilled rotors? Anybody try out something that is an improvement over oem that was worth the extra money?
thanks for the help!

yea buy powerslot or just some ones from discount auto.. the cool drilled n slotted rotors off ebay are good but mess with your ABS because the Tone rings arent to factory spec... trust me i know.. get some good pads and SS lines and thats about the best we can do

ceramic pads will be more expensive but they cut down on brake dust severly. i think a set is like 80 bucks (us)

hes 4x4 so he doesnt need to worry about tone rings. if you really want slotted rotors look into powerSTOP, not powerSLOT, theyare much cheaper and are a great rotor. i have them on my truck with the hawke froecarbon pads. its an awsome combo and they made a huge difference in stopping power and fade resistance over stock. i got the whole thing, pads and rotors for under $180 from autopartswarehouse.com and they were well worth every penny.
