Need rear bushing for Toyo Kogyo 5 speed

I have a 1986 Ranger with a 2.0 liter 4 cylinder engine and a 5 speed manual transmission. The slip yoke for the driveshaft slips into the tail housing of the transmission where it rides in a bushing and a seal to keep the gear oil in.

I have managed to find a new seal on the internet but I need a new bushing also.

Midwest transmission has bushings for 1.5 inch diameter slip yokes, but my slip yoke is only 1.375 inches in diameter.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Forgot to say that this is a 2 wheel drive truck.

I would try a local transmission shop. They have access to more parts than we do. Also check your slip yoke and make sure it doesn't have any scoring from the bushing going bad, or it will cause a vibration.

x2 most trans shops will either have access to what you need or will be able to cross reference to another make/model with same specs to get a part that will work for you

TK5 extension housing bushing

Thanks for the tip, folks. I went to Aamco and they are taking care of it. I wish I'd thought of that sooner.
