Hello guys, I just got my ranger ! A 89 with a 351w and c4 in it. The guy i bought if from said he rebuilt the trans but it will only move in reverse. needing help to find the year of c4 that it is to replace. Been looking all over the place for a tag or something to go by with no luck. All i know is it was supose to come out of a 78 mercury? Will any c4 work or do they change at certain years? can i replace it with a c6 or aod and how much work or parts would i need? thanks for any help! Gary with new toy that doesn'e move
