finally got my new gears.
a little run down on why i gotta rebuild the rear end..
tone ring is missing multiple teeth, possibility that they got into the ring and pinion and messed them up, rather than chance it i am rebuilding the whole thing.
new tone ring, abs sensor, and gears!
going with a 4.30 gear this time since i drive the highway alot and 4.56s were a bit too much for 4+hr drives. so hopefully the 4.30s will allow for a more highway friendly drive.

as far as i know, i will be one of the few with a 4.30 gear since everyone goes with 4.10s or 4.56s and never the inbetween.
i will let ya know how they work out for anyone interested.
and once i get a programmer i will post actual mpg

 

^^YA....everyone goes with 4.10 or 4.56 since there's a front axle to gear too!!

 

yeah i was kinda confused with 4:30 at first then i saw you where 2wd

 

yes i am 2wd. and with 33s and 430s, the speedo is 5mph fast, and has good power.
got to break the gears in before i can get a good determination of how much accleration i have.
when we tore apart my rear end, we found a tragedy of a gear install, every bolt was loose, one was broken, which is what jacked up the tone ring. soo much free play in the differintail
