Hey guys,
I'm new to the forum, I just got a 1999 ford ranger with the 4.0 with 4x4 for free. The problem is it needs a new transmission due to the transmission fluid turned gray and now the truck does not move when it's in drive. Is there any online shops that rebuilt for cheap or a used transmission or does anyone know where there is a place in Minnesota to get it rebuilt for cheap or know of a used transmission? let me know I have the transmission out of the truck but I can't find a transmission place that sells rebuilts under 1500$. let me know what you guys think. why is the fluid turning gray? is the transmission done?
