new tires

just put 33x12.5x15 on my 3.0 ranger with a 7.5 full open on 3.73 gears, is this gonna hurt or break anything

mine went boom after 2500 miles of 33s. 3.0 7.5 w/ 4.10LS

Depends on how you drive it but yeah the 7.5 is kinda weak. If it blows up just get an Expo axle!

I guess what I mean to ask is if I just take it easy like normal everyday driving will it hurt anything

no it shouldn't but i cant even imagine a 3.0 with 3.73 and 33s lol my 4.10s were bad

Its going to hurt your wallet as your gas mileage is going down.

The truck will be fine.

I wouldn't be worried about the 3.0 giving out, but i'd definitely try and find an 8.8 with better gearing.

I ran my 33's on a 7.5 with 3.73's for a while and beat on it and it was fine until I swapped the 8.8 in.

well heres my next question, when i drive around on flat ground just cruzing, the transmission due to lugging around beefy tires, makes the rattling noise that you get when driving at about 800 rpms and letting the tranny just take the truck. its normal in all manual vehicles, and its not a spark knock. or detination. but its the sound the tranny makes when pulling off on a hill or with a load. but i get it at about 1500 rpms just cruzing. is this bad? do i really need to drive around at 2100 rpms?
