NO SHIFT, OD ligt blicking,,HELP!!!

ok redid whole tranny 65k used trany,,,, yess everythings plugged in,, yes fluid level is good, not shiing out of first!!!!! od light blinking.... please help me ,.., im lost andgot no idea,,, im beside mys right now,,, idk what te heck to do, imm so mad. bad tranny? what makes it shift? please and thanks guys

Did you reset the computer? Try disconnecting your batter for 20min, and then re connect it. See if that works.

also check all your fuse's both fuse box (driver's side box) and in the engine bay. I don't remember if there is any for the tranny in the engine bay fuse box....but doesn't hurt to check

ok ok sounds good,, yeah innected battery during the process,, and put it on as it was finished but illtry all of the above... thanks ALOT for ideas

ahh nothing,,, no bad fuses,,, battery trick didnt work,,, idk what to do,, please anyone have any idea?? HELP!!!!!!!!

so when you put it in "D" or drive, it doesn't come out of 1st? can you put it in 1st, and then shift manually up to 2nd?

this exact same thing happened to my friends f150 but it was stuck in 3rd because thats the gear it was in when it happened, it was a blown relay for the transmission.

It could be a servo...thats what happened to me. even a little tiny crack will not let the fluid pressure build up enough to shift...

my dads 99 ranger did something similar and it turned out to be the sensor in the rearend.
