Outer CV boot questions

Hey guys. I just caught a ripped CV boot on my 02 FX4. I was wondering what is the best replacement boot available for the truck? Is there something besides the cheap plastic ones that are factory, or are there rubbery replacements, similar to an ATV's? Thanks

A new half shaft is about 100 bucks. May be worth it to avoid a headache.

Yeah I've had to replace the acutal joints on atv's and was just wondering what was a good replacement for it, so I don't have to deal with it again. Maybe I'll make some CV guards too. Thanks guys.
