Problem with Clutch job on 91 2.3

Problem with Clutch job on 91 2.3
Having difficulty removing slave cylinder line to transmission. I have pushed the white plastic collar in as instructed, but the black fluid line remains locked into the transmission. Any suggestions welcome. Thanks.
