Quick question, about to drop my trans.

Im in the process of droping my trans, and ive got every thing ready to come out but i cant figure out how to disconect clutch line from the slave? help would be great!

ok so i tried sliding the white coller down and pulling at it, i tried pulling the copper and white coller down, no go, tried pulling the white coller down and pulling at the copper one.... no go. what do i do? cut the fuking thing? Everything is off trans bolts are all broken loose ready to be droped. what about this clutch line???

See the small surround around the line at the slave? Push it in, while pulling the clutch line out of the slave. It work the same as a quick air connect fitting where you push down around the outside of the line (the ring) then pull the line out. Same thing.

i had this exact problem when i dropped my tranny. i hated that little coupling, i bought the special tool when i put it back in, but i took it out by jamming 2 flathead screwdrivers into it and reefed on it till she let go. its not a fun job either way but the tool does help, i got it at lordco, they wanted like 30 bucks for it and all it is is a flat peice of metal that looks like a dinner fork with only to teeth but far apart.

thanks guys i alredy got it out i did end up getting the tool for about $8.

You can also get a hydraulic line quick disconnect tool kit and use that next time.
