Ranger Shift Kit Question

Ranger Shift Kit Question
Is it necessary to install the shim that comes with the Trans-Go shift kit for a 4R44E trans??? It looks like you have to tear apart the trans in order to install the shim.

no if you are not pulling those parts out of the transmission then dont worry about it. the kit will work just fine with all the valve body parts installed properly and taken care of.
