Rear axle swap on 1998 Ranger XLT

I have a GM 14 bolt axle that I would like to use on my Ranger.
I can narrow it and make it fit, but how about the ABS and speed sensor.
Any ideas?

i have my abs disabled , more of a pain than anything else

if you intend to use larger tires , the gm 14 bolt differential is the best choice even hard core off roaders only use that axle

the newer 14 bolt gm axles utilize a pumpkin mounted speed sensor , should be easy to wire in

How does this sensor work?
I know that it picks up a magnetic pulse from a tone ring. I am guessing that I will have to use a ring with the number of teeth to get it to work.

the magnetic pickup counts each tooth of the tone ring as it rotates

that is how the computer determines if the rear abs neads to be activated to maintain traction control
