Rear diff. fill plug won't come out!

I was working on changing my rear differential fluid today. I got the cover off, cleaned it, applied some black RTV, and sealed it back up. I let it sit for a few hours. And now when I went to take the fill plug out, it won't budge. I've searched and didn't really see anything that would help. Any tips to get it off?

Maybe squirt it with some penetrating lubricant, like WD-40 or something and let it soak in. Then try again. Also, maybe try getting more leverage. Put a piece of pipe on the end of the ratchet. Hopefully that helps. Good luck.

Yeah, I sprayed som PB blaster on it and let it soak. Still couldn't get it off, so I let my sister's boyfriend try and he got it off. Thanks for the suggestions.
