Rear end oil

Rear end oil

Does anyone Know how much oil the rear end on 8.8 holds?

non FX4 is 2.4- 2.5L (80- 90W)
FX4 is 2.5- 2.6L (75- 140W)

Ya, when I filled mine completely up, I was surprised that it took that much.

not to thread jack/be a noob, but why would the FX4 thing matter?

Cause it is a 31 spline rear end while the non-FX4 one is a 28 spline one. So, the rear end is a little bigger.

Do you have a limited slip in it?

If not then just fill it up to the top of the fill hole.
