Road trip for a Free Dana

I found a sweet deal like that on a 78 D60 front. I will be picking it up 6/2. The price is free. Well not totally free. The kicker is I have to drive to Massachusetts with him to pic up the truck. It is a 6 and ½ hour drive One way. We be doing this trip as an up and back. 13 hrs starting at 6 am yuck. I plan on rebuilding it. But as it has no hubs a broken outer shaft, missing a wheel bearing, and a break caliper. I think it is going to be worth my time. It will help be complete my Dana 60 Set.

well if its a 78 it has to be a F250 as they did not make a 4wd 78 F350. So it has to be a snowfighter, crew cab or something along those lines, I think
Camper special trucks had the front 60 also. Be careful as some of those f250's had big hub D44's which look almost identical to the d60's minus the kingpins and larger diff.

IT's form a snowfighter. It has the king pins and a huge diff. I am well aware of the D44 8 Bolts. I got one with my Dana 60 Rear. I currently am trying to sell the Danna 44 it is listed on ebay.

Sorry, nevermind.. If it's an 8-lug, than it's a leaf spring set-up... I'm looking for one with the radius arm brackets....
