00 Explorer 8.8 3L73 complete rearend for my 99 build. NO the wheel didn't come with it, I had to return it. I'm plannin on replacin the left axle with a right after I cut the tube down to size, then when I do the under-the-frame setup on it, I'll get 3" more room inside the wheelwells.

L/S: Yes....3L73

31 spline: Yes, all Explorers are that

Miles: Didn't pay any attention, I'll clean it up, narrow it, and put fresh
fluid & friction modifier in it....should be good to go!

I found a 93 Explorer Sport yesterday with 3L27..........I'm gonna try to get it for parts, but found it kinda strange for it to be such high geared and be a L/S.

damn man thats pretty sick that and locker in the front and youll be in good shape unless you already have one but good job man, ive thought about putting one in my ranger but id rather just put dual lockers in it since i dont beat it up enough to need a 31 spline.

Thats typical of the first gens. Only 4x4's had 3.73 and even at that I dont think all of them came with it.
