well first off most shift kits u just remove the valve body assembly, second those B&M ones are a joke. i put a trans-go shift kit in my E4OD when i rebuilt it and what a difference. i dont care what anyone says about a shift kit, they help and are better for a tranny than just boosting line pressure with the ECU. the stock internals of the VB cant take the high pressures, thats why in a shift kit u have to replace a few springs, plungers, etc...

oh, who makes this kit?

in my torino i have a B&M trans pak shift kit, with the springs and plungers etc, it was a bit more expensive than the regular VB plate kit thing, but i love it, adjustable modulator too
