Solid Front End

Hey,

I've got a 94 B4000, a rebadged Ford Ranger more or less. I'm seriously considering trading out my independent front suspension for a solid axle front end. I figure this is the best way to start my research...

What are your suggestions? Did any Rangers come stock with a solid front end? What other vehicles would be easy to swap in?

Any info is appreciated.... Thanks in advance

I will get it done, one way or another. I may need to swap in a F150 front end, (then the rear to match) but so be it. It'll get done...

Go to page 40 of Jey's thread, it has the list of all the parts he used.

I'm doing two things: 4x4 conversion and SAS at the same time. My truck is an incapable...uh...I mean INCREDIBLE 4x2 offroad machine...

I'm using a 78/79 (not sure anymore which, lol) F-150 Dana 44 and keeping the 31 spline 8.8 I put in there a while back.
