Hey does anyone know if a dealership will take off my speed limiter? my truck shuts down at like 95 and i kno it can pull more than that!

Also, what do you think the cost would be?

You won't find a dealer that will do that. Not a chance.

A tuner or a chip. Thats it. Why do you want to remove it? Unless you are planning to go to a track with it, I don't see the use considering how much money it costs.

Well by your own admission, you are doing it in traffic. So that pretty much shoots down that lame excuse. Try again.

I hit 163 in a Z06 on an airport runway. My 4.0l hit 105 before it cut out. NO EXCUSE is good enough for doing that speed on a road. I have scraped up more guts than brains from kids like you. You want to go fast? Take it to the track. It may not be you that cant drive, but it may be that drunk coming home from the bar at 2am that weaves in front of you!

ive had my 3.0 up to 105, nothing done to it. it stayed at 95 for a few seconds then jumped up to 105, dont know how or why though. That is as fast as I cared to go though. Im like the rest however man, theres no reason to go that fast, lots of bad things can happen. But in your defense, he asked how to do it, not is it smart or safe. its his decision and his life.
