Today while driving I noticed a knocking when turning right or going over bumps in the road. I finally got to look under the truck and noticed that I'm missing the nut on the top side of the front stabilizer bar link bolt assembly on the passenger side.

It's a '99 Ranger XLT 4x4.

Is this unsafe to drive?

Is there a bushing on the top?

Thanks for the help.

Not safe to drive, replace both of them but it might be hard getting them off if they are oem. Most likely the nuts will snap off and the bolts are bent and wont slide out of the sleeve. Cut them off with a sawsall or cutting wheel. I had the same problem with crushed rubber bushing. I replaced mine with a stiffer neoprene type bushing. It took me a while but I bent them back and forth till the bolt cracked off just below the head..These are the ones I put on, Moog with heavy duty bushings. There are a few videos on youtube that show you how to install the new ones. (Kris & Ethan)
