Quick 8.8 question...

I bought a '94 GT 8.8 from the junkyard to swap into my '68 Mustang. I've taken off all the control arm & shock brackets from the outer sections and also the upper control arms mounts that are cast into the center section.

Do you guys think it's okay as-is, or should I put some sort of small brace on the top where those upper arm mounts used to be? It's not a high horsepower car, just a 302/C4 right now but will be a T5 car in the near future.

With a 302, I wouldn't worry about it

nope dont worry about it but you should weld the center section to the axle tubes

I'm still not sure what to do with it... I posted it on a Mustang forum too. Here the replies are no and there the replies are yes. lol
