Tanny question
I was wondering if my tranny had "half" gears. It is weird because I find it shifting up more than four times under light/medium acceleration.

One of the "shifts" you feel is actually the torque converter locking up. in my F150 i believe it happened between 2nd and third gear. So it'd go: 1st, 2nd, TC lockup, 3rd, 4th.
