Hi everyone I am new to this forum. I was wondering if u can swap a A4LD out of a 93 ranger 4x4 for a 4R55E without any issues?

 

The 4r is a computer controlled transmission, you would need to swap to a 96 up computer and rewire most of your truck.

If you were planning an engine swap this would be easier to do. There is a 3.0 4x4 trans on the classified for sale.
