transmission mounting bolt

transmission mounting bolt

anyone know what size that bolt is that bolts the transmission to the crossmember? i went to Ford today and it just said 1/2" Screw...
looking for the length and thread count per inch.

ha im only running with one bolt right now, i just abuse the truck too much.

its in an automatic transmission. 4.0L motor

It's metric and I think it's an M12, 1.5 mm pitch -- I could be wrong about the pitch especially, but I believe that's the "normal" pitch as opposed to the "fine" pitch.

Best thing is to simply remove the other one and get a ride to the store and compare it. I have no idea of the length but I think it's aroud 30 to 40 mm.

ha yea, thats what the parts guy said to do at ford... then when i asked if he had access to a torque rating for that bolt, he said tighten it down as much as i could...
yea... and strip out the threads in the transmission haha NO
