Transmission Switcharoo

I have a 92 Ranger STX with a 5-spd trans, but I'm thinking about converting it to an automatic trans. Other than needing a auto-trans/bellhousing/shifter, how hard would this be to do and would it cost me big time money wise? Sorry, not really mechanically inclined. Once built a birdhouse that got condemned

If your not mechanically inclined you might just want to find your truck with an auto trans in it. Job sounds easy but alot more to it.
