Icon4 ukered rear end

i have a 2001 ford ranger edge and recently the rear end has gone in it. i can move the rear pinion in an inch circle within the back diff, am i better to just replace the whole rear axle or see if this can be fixed. also if i have to replace the rear end completely what years are compatible with my drivetrain so i can go and get one from a jy.

thanks

Anything will work, but you may as well get an expo 8.8. They come with disks.
