Icon4 Unbinding transfer case?

Urgently looking for answers here, I need a working truck before monday... I just took off my tcase motor and replaced it, but it's not shifting out of 4low.
The relay is clicking but it's just not moving. I actuated the motor outside of the case and it works.
Shift rail seems to be bound, is there any way to unbind it or do I need a new tcase assembly?

drain the oil . Can you see the chain sag in the drain hole ? Chances are you’ll have to pull it off the the truck and go through it. Mine was doing this before I pulled it . It ate the shift fork and tangs, and took out my oil pump . Before you drive it pull it off .

chock your wheels . Pull your drive shaft . (12 point 12mm). Disconnect your wiring harnesses and vent tube. The transfer case , if it’s a bw1354 , will have 5 13mm bolts .

With the control motor off you should be able to turn the three sided stub back to 2wd. It should be drivable then. Put some duct tape over the stub to keep the dust out till you can fix it. The new control motor should be in the 2wd position when initially installed. Might be a bad replacement control motor if you can turn the stub. Get a motor with a lifetime warranty as they tend to go bad.
