Visual differences between 5r55e and 4r55e

Anyone know a positive way to ID a 5r55e? got a spare trans for my 97 Ex plow truck, just have to make sure it is indeed a 5 and not 4r55e.

Might try my guy at the dealer, but the only stuff I have to go on is the wiring harness on the trans.

4R55E was used in 95-96 Explorer's. 97-01 is when the switch to 5R55E was made.

The starter pockets are different in these bell housings. The 5R is slightly smaller.
