Weird sounds coming from the rear end

I've been noticing this the last couple of days, but really noticed tonight.

The truck, while accellerating has a weird but steady vibration out of the rear end, feels side to side.

Coming around the corner tonight, the rear tire started to spin, like I had a locker in the rear and it was engaged. Then, when I went to do it again i kept hearing a "tump thump thump thump..." sound out of it. Speed was <5 mph

Any idea what the hell it's doing?
