Where to get a 7.5 4.10 ring and pinion&kit
Found answer if info that I looked up is right about a 7.5 being wider than it is tall and a 8.8 being taller than wide. Mine is wider than it is tall, so it is a 7.5. Where is the best place to get a 4.10 ring and pinion and a kit as well?
99' Mazda B3000,(3.0L), 2wd. Does anyone know what size I have or know how to tell, is it as simple as a tape measurer and what (I know what but across, up, length or what)?
Thanks for helping, I am wanting to get new gears (4.10) but don't know what size to get.

rather than looking at the cover, take a look under the diff, that rectangulary section thats the lowest point is only about 3/4 of an inch wide on a 7.5 and is a couple inchs wide on an 8.8, but yes, clean off that tag and it is readable, i can almost read it in that picture, if it was scrubed down a little with a brush it would be easily readable.

the gear ratio may be under hte bolt head, but the actual ring gear daiameter is at amount the middle of the tag, hell, clean off all the mud and take a picture of it and ill tell you what axle it is and what gear ratio it has... also, is this for the '84 with 2.8? because if so chances are its a 7.5. from that picture (itd be easier to tell if it was a little smaller and could see the entire diff in one screen without having to scroll) it also looks like a 7.5.
