wheel bearing

wheel bearing

what should i crank the axle nut down to? i know you should torque it down, then back it off some, but i forgot the actual numbers. i seached on here the other day but forgot what keywords i used to find it.

do i back the nut off any? or just crank that **** down?

also, what do i crank the back three nuts to?

The wheelbearing mounting bolts are 74-96 ftlbs. The hub retainer nut is 157 - 213 ftlbs.


The big nut does not need to backed off, it holds the halfshaft in place. Not the wheel bearings.
