Question- Will 4.11's be safe with 4.10's?

Just at the title says, will I be safe running 4.11's in the rear and keep the 4.10's in the front? Just bought a set of Yukon's and didn't see until after the fact that they're 4.11's.

I would say hell yes.....remember that international i had.....4.88 and 4.89.

You might have the occasional "reverse and unbind a lil".....but i only had to do that with a chevy w/ 3.73s front and 4.11 rear.....little bit of bindage.

Considering the fact that 4WD shouldn't be engaged on hard surfaces anyway, the small amount of difference won't be noticed by you or the drivetrain.

For years, Ford specs have called out 3.54 and 3.55 on the same truck. Same for 4.09 and 4.10 and other combinations. You're OK with such a small delta when driving in low traction situations. 1/4 of 1% has got to be less than tire-to-tire variability and it's way less than the front/rear difference in driveshaft RPM while turning left or right.
