as long as u keep the fluid fresh i dont see the need for a flush. sometimes a flush will do more damage than good. but on urs, seeing its such low milage just a filter and fluid service should suffice.
IMO, since auto tranny fluid is so cheap i would replace the fluid every other erl change. install a drain plug and proceed to do it like an oil change. also if ur worried about ur auto tranny install an auxerialy (sp) trans cooler.

not overly difficult. remove the pan and clean it thorogly. then pick the type of plug u want, this is where it gets difficult. i may be able to share more insite when i finish mine one of these days.

At about 45,000, I was going to have the trans fluid drained and changed at the local Valvoline Instant Oil Change (the guys there hook me up big time). Upon seeing it, the fluid looked like slurry. I had them do the full flush. In my opinion, it is worth it concidering how expensive a tranny is. At the same time, I had them flush the coolant system and use whatever their super special oil system cleaner is on it. Transfer case and both diffs were also done sometime between 30k & 40k. My powertrain is all happy & clean now.
