Hey guys,
Could someone please tell me if a 2008 ranger automatic transmission(2.3 lt/2wd) will fit into a 2003 Mazda b-3000 (3.0ltr 2wd) pickup, without any major problems or mods???
A friend of mine has a used one for sale and mine is on its way out, banging hard on deceleration, fluid looks suddenly toasted....5r44e

 

Just check the bolt pattern cant recall which one they used on the 2.3L if its not a 5r44e you'll probably need a new PCM or reflash to get it to work. Check the forums there are tons of trans swap posts.
