Is this the FactoryOriginal InstrumentCluster?
In Pic below of 51kMile Cluster, do NOT see required IndicatorLamps for CruiseControl & 2WHi~4WHi~4WLo TransferCase.
If Cluster & integral OdoMeter is NOT FactoryOriginal, 51kMiles likely NOT accurate; would expect 150kMiles+.
Very clean truck, but wouldnt pay >$1500 for a 150kMile+ 20YearOld+ 2001Model V6~4.0L~SOHC Engine + 5r55e Tranny.

 

You can't tell if those are there without the key turned or unless the light hits them just right, so there's no way to tell.

What I don't like is how choppy that frame and the control arms look. Is that a thick heavy undercoating, or is that painted over rust?

 

Believe you're right; cluster with gage black background they're hard to see; white background IndicatorLabels\Icons stand out more clearly.
Still suspicious of a 20YearOld+ vehicle with only 51kMiles, that'd be ~2500Miles/Year ~200Miles/Month ~50Miles/Week. Maybe?
This truck in PA RustBelt? ControlArms & RearAxle do look bumpy\coated\painted.
Rear ShockMounts & Exhaust look exceptionally clean.

 

My 2002 Ranger only has 70k documented, but that's because my great uncle bought it with low miles in 2007 and only really drove it to the dump down the street, and to doctor's appointments every once in a while. It's possible, but I've had a ton of problems with the truck due to it sitting so much from 2007 to 2020. Low mileage vehicles sound great in theory, but they're not.
