There were a few hoops to jump through with the insurance, but if you have a real nice agent, they can make it work.

I wish this came up last summer, If anyone is considering it realize that the cv shafts are now next to impossible to get so if you want a 4x4 LT ranger this is pretty much your only chance

Question: this was mentioned before but I never saw the answer. A ranger's front is a hybrid D35. Isn't the f-150 the same or an actual D35? If so could the shafts fit a ranger if they were the same spline?

yea, that was brought up, the fiddy is wider so if they would work, you could either get them to work on a DBR kit or get upper and lower control arms made that give your truck a wider stance.

The 150's use a different style of output, all I know is it doesn't work haha, there are a few shops working on getting shafts made since there are about 6 of us on dezertrangers alone that never got the cv shafts.
You can always just plug in an extended shaft into the stock cv's but if your cycling more than 10" travel they will pull apart
Aaron had a guy who made the adapters to use the 930 high angle cv's and apparently that guy flaked out

Only real option now it seems is to get custom 930 cv adapters machined, then get the longer shafts. I'm sure rcv would make you a set, but the cost would be retarded.
