Not really given his truck is badass and all, but a twin stick is well worth it. they are becoming a rare bread now. Just like the old gen3 4banger 4x4's.

Dealers wont do a strait trade unless your on the losing end and even at that its rare they will. He'd have better odds if his truck was totally stock.

I'm planning on offering up the Purple People Eater, but the problem with that is, its only worth like, 2.5k at top value. its a rare truck i agree and i'm sure the dealer knows that also.
i hate playing hardball with dealers, cause i can be a buyer, but if it isn't their price then i might as well try and negotiate with sticks and stones.

I just realized my brother has a twin stick. He has a 1994 I think with the 4 banger.

 

Went and talked to the guy at the dealership. The trucks starting price is 13.5K they would offer me 2K for my truck. which is way more then he was going to originally. Sadly, its not gonna work this time, I can only offer him like 8k right now, since i don't really want to be in debt and he already said he had someone who was going to give him the full amount.

 

Thats got the center console I need....arghh!!
