'00 Front End Conversion?

Im in the process of changing out my front end as i write this, im having trouble with the headlight bulbs not matching up. What did you do to solve this problem?

geez, i feel stupid, it took me over a day to do mine and that's not counting the bumper or hood. Of course that was back when I was 20 and didn't know **** about **** when it came to cars

That's odd...mine were a direct match, as were the blinkers. It was the corners I had a problem with, I had to enlarge the hole in the 01 corners because the 98 corner light socket didn't match the hole

I figured out the bulb problem. I'm just going to mask off the extra bulb. But my kit didn't come with the retainer clips... Anyone know where I can find them?

I just looked in my box of spare bulbs and sockets and unfortunately I don't have any retainers or I'd give em to ya.
I would just go to the stealership for something small like that.

the slider things? you can get them at the dealership or if you have a junkyard near you, go there and look.

Yeah the sliders are what I'm looking for. I checked the dealership and they're $17.00 bucks a piece! No thank you. I ended up buying some more of the headlight retaining clips that come on the 98-00 rangers and those seem to be working fine. Not to mention 6 of them cost me $5.99 compared to $68.00 plus shipping for the sliders.
