04-06 Grill and surround on a 03 edge, can it be done?

Ok, I had the misfortune of having my grill kick in while i was in class at school. When I came out there was a big hole in my grille. Now not just the grille though, the surround thing, i ghuess the grille shell, the little plastic thing that snaps on under the headlights, and it goes around the honeycome part, the thin plastic thingy, w/e... I have an 03 edge and it had the honeycome style grille. NE way, im ordering a new one, prolly the same one. But before I just order the 03 replacement part, I was wondering something. I love how the new ranger grilles look. U know, the chrome ons on the 04-06 rangers. Would It be possible to put one of those grilles on my 03? I need the entire piece, not only the center section, cuz like a said, the shell around the grill was cracked too. lemme kno id like to order tonight. Thanks guys.

I doubt it would fit because the hoods on the 04-06's are different as well.

No, kjust like Erik said, the hoods are different. Inorder to do a grill swap, you would have to do the whole front end.

You need the hood, the grille, and the radiator support, because they're all unique to 04+.

Hood, grille, header panel, and some other miscelanious stuff. If it were me, get a replacement grille. It'll be a faster swap, and more importantly, a whole hell of a lot chaper to do.

Just order a replacement, it was prolly faded anyways; right?

I like the 01-03 style alot better than the 04-06 style

Better yet, get the Street-Scenes Mesh grille. I've had the upper and lower for years now, and while it is somewhat pliable, I've always been able to easily push it back into its proper shape. I even painted them charcoal for a while then stripped the paint off and they still look good.

I'd say leave it black personally
